Hey Jammers! I hope you've all had as great a day as I have!I got to thinking about what really got me into Pearl Jam... I mean really really got me into them. So I asked myself, when did this really all begin? And yes, I can trace my appreciation of
their music back to the very beginning in '91... But when I really think about it, it all began
when I met a guy named Eddie Lozanski in an old AOL PJ chatroom, back in '96 before No
Code was released.
He was a kind soul who just wanted to help a fellow Jammer in need. He ended up sending me several tapes with every possible b-side and rarity, that at that point, you could possibly want or imagine. Now, there were many songs on those miracle tapes that stuck with me over the years, even after losing them in 2000. Two of my absolute favorites though, are a couple of Bad Radio tunes- One Step Up & Believe You Me. I still think of him when I hear them to this day.
So tonight's post goes out to Eddie- thanks for making me the hardcore Jammer that I am today, and always will be.
